Most peoples experience of riding gravel is accidentally going down a freshly rocked road in the late summer and not enjoying it. But if you have the right bike with wider tires it can be really enjoyable, gets you out of traffic and on some roads you might not of ridden on just miles from your house.
A few of us have compiled a map with a lot of the gravel roads in the area marked. It took a long time to build and favors where we ride the most. Some of them change and all might not be public roads, so use some common sense. Use this guide to map out a route and go explore.
